What to Expect When You Book Me As Your Wedding Photographer:

Your wedding day is one of the most meaningful, emotional, and joyful moments of your life—and my job is to capture every bit of it with care, intention, and creativity. Wondering what it’s like to have me as your wedding photographer? Let me walk you through what a typical wedding day looks like when I’m behind the camera.

1. The Prep: Before the Big Day A week or two before the wedding, I’ll reach out to confirm your timeline and any special details or photo requests. I double-check my gear, pack extra batteries and cards, and get familiar with your venue (if I haven’t shot there before).

2. Getting Ready Coverage I typically arrive while you're finishing hair and makeup. I start with detail shots—your dress, rings, bouquet, invitation suite—and then move into capturing candid moments with your closest people. These quiet, excited moments are always some of my favorites.

3. First Look or Pre-Ceremony Portraits If you're planning a first look, I help coordinate a private, peaceful spot for you two to see each other before the ceremony. It’s always a powerful, emotional moment—and it helps us get portraits done early so you can enjoy more of your day!

4. The Ceremony Whether you're in a cathedral or a backyard, I document the full ceremony with a mix of wide shots, close-ups, and guest reactions. I try to stay unobtrusive but alert to every important glance, tear, and laugh.

5. Cocktail Hour & Reception Details While guests enjoy cocktail hour, I usually sneak into the reception space to capture all the details before everyone arrives. From the cake to the place settings, I make sure to photograph the environment you worked so hard to create.

6. Reception Moments Grand entrances, emotional toasts, first dances, cake cutting, and the dance floor—I capture the joy, fun, and energy as the celebration unfolds.

7. Golden Hour Portraits If we can sneak out for 10 minutes during golden hour (the hour before sunset), we’ll get dreamy, romantic portraits in the best light of the day.

8. The Exit & Final Shots If you're planning a sparkler exit or final dance, I’ll be there! After I leave, your photos are backed up in multiple places to keep them safe.

9. Post-Wedding Workflow Within 48 hours, you’ll receive a sneak peek gallery to relive your day right away. Your full gallery is delivered within 6—8 weeks, ready for sharing, printing, or creating your heirloom album.

Being your photographer means more than taking pretty photos—it's about helping you feel supported and celebrated from beginning to end. ❤️
